Division 01 / Software Engineering

Software that does
the work for you

We build the custom applications, integrations and AI automation that replace the spreadsheets, manual handoffs and off-the-shelf tools your business has outgrown — and we build them to be handed over, not held onto.

Services

Custom software and AI, built around how you actually operate.

Two closely related practices. Most projects start in one and end up touching both — a platform that needs an AI step, or an automation that needs a proper interface around it.

Custom software & web applications

Applications designed around your process instead of forcing your process into someone else's product.

  • 01 Internal platforms, admin tools and operations dashboards
  • 02 Customer portals, booking and self-service systems
  • 03 SaaS products and MVPs, from first screen to first customer
  • 04 Marketplaces, CRMs and inventory / order management
  • 05 API development and third-party system integration
  • 06 Rescue and modernisation of legacy applications

AI, data & automation

Practical AI applied to the work that eats your team's week — not a demo that impresses and then sits unused.

  • 01 AI assistants and chatbots trained on your own documents
  • 02 Document extraction — invoices, contracts, forms, reports
  • 03 RAG search across internal knowledge and file archives
  • 04 Workflow automation between the tools you already pay for
  • 05 Data pipelines, warehousing and clean reporting layers
  • 06 Live dashboards for operations, sales and finance
What comes with it

Not just the build.

Product & UX

Scoping, user flows and interface design before a line of code — so we build the right thing once.

Cloud & deployment

Hosting, CI/CD, backups and monitoring set up properly on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or Vercel.

Security & access

Authentication, roles and permissions, audit trails and sensible data handling built in from the start.

Documentation & handover

Readable docs, a clean repository and a walkthrough so your team — or any future developer — can pick it up.

Support & iteration

Warranty on what we ship, plus optional monthly retainers for fixes, small changes and new features.

Dedicated dev capacity

Need ongoing hands rather than a project? We can place vetted developers who work as part of your team.

Technology

Proven tools, chosen to fit the job.

We pick technology you can hire for and maintain in five years, not whatever shipped last month.

Engagement

How a project runs.

01 / Discovery

Working session

A session on your process, your data and what "done" looks like. You leave with a written summary whether or not you hire us.

02 / Scope

Fixed quote

Features, stack, milestones, assumptions and a fixed price. Anything outside scope is priced separately and openly.

03 / Build

Two-week sprints

Cycles with a working demo at the end of each. You see progress continuously, not at the finish line.

04 / Launch

And support

Deployment, training, documentation and a warranty window — then an optional retainer for whatever comes next.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What does a project cost?

It depends entirely on scope, so we don't publish a price list we'd have to caveat. What we do is give you a fixed number after discovery — a small automation and a full platform are different orders of magnitude, and you should know which one you're buying before you commit.

How long does it take?

An AI workflow or automation is usually 3–8 weeks. An MVP or internal platform is typically 8–16 weeks. We give you milestone dates in the proposal and tell you early if anything is at risk of slipping.

Who owns the code?

You do — completely, from the first commit. The repository is yours, the infrastructure is in your accounts, and there is nothing proprietary of ours that you'd need to keep paying for.

Can you work with our existing developers?

Yes. We regularly join existing teams, pick up half-finished projects, or provide dedicated developers who work inside your process and tooling.

Do you maintain what you build?

Every project includes a warranty period. After that most clients move to a monthly retainer covering fixes, monitoring and a budget of hours for changes — but it's optional, and you can take it in-house whenever you like.

Is AI actually right for our problem?

Often it isn't, and we'll say so. Plenty of problems are better solved with a well-built form and a database than with a model. We'd rather tell you that in discovery than sell you something that disappoints.

Have a system that needs building?

Send us the problem — even roughly. We'll come back with an honest view of what it takes, what it costs, and whether it's worth doing at all.
